Plans and payment
The full version is sold through the App Store as a one-time purchase or as a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription. All of them unlock the same features. Reference prices: One-time purchase US$59.99; Monthly US$2.99 / month; Quarterly US$8.99 / 3 months; Yearly US$29.99 / year. The App Store shows the price in your currency, and that is the price you pay. Family Sharing is supported for up to six family members.
A one-time purchase does not renew and does not expire. A subscription is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm, and renews automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings; when a subscription ends, the full-version features lock again and everything free stays free.
Service included: a one-time purchase includes one feature request for life. A yearly subscription gives three feature requests for each paid year; monthly and quarterly subscriptions earn one for every four months of paid subscription, up to three in any 12 months. A request you earn stays usable for 12 months; if your subscription lapses, earning pauses and picks up again when you resubscribe. A feature request counts only once we accept it; we tell you if we decline one, and a declined request does not use up your allowance.
Support: every user gets a reply within five business days. The yearly plan adds ongoing priority support by email: a first reply within one business day, and its accepted requests are scheduled first.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one through your App Store purchase history — we have no ability to issue or decline it, and no record of your purchase beyond what the App Store tells the app.
What the almanac content is
The almanac layer takes the source text it declares as its reference; the in-app sources page states which parts of its data have not yet been checked against that text. It reproduces a tradition; it does not assert that the tradition predicts anything.
Almanac notes are cultural reference only. They are not medical, legal, financial or any other professional advice.
Accuracy and its limits
Astronomical values — lunar dates, solar terms, moon phases, sunrise and sunset — are computed. Lunar dates and solar-term dates were compared day by day with the Hong Kong Observatory’s published tables for 1901–2100; moon phases, sunrise and sunset were not compared with them. With Japan or Korea as the region, lunar dates and solar terms follow local time (UTC+9) instead: the Korean calendar was compared month by month with the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute for 1901–2050, and Japan has no official old calendar to compare with. Outside that range the app declines to answer rather than guess.
Almanac notes are a different kind of thing: different almanacs follow different source texts and disagree with one another. Where this app differs from a printed almanac you own, that is expected.
Your data is yours
We claim no rights over the events, reminders or settings you create. Your events and reminders never leave your device unless you export them yourself; with Online services on, the app also sends the few settings listed in the privacy policy.
